Why this exists

I built this for my mother.

She is going through menopause. That is the entire origin of this product, and it is worth saying plainly before anything else on this site asks you to trust it.

She was having to dig through articles to find out whether what she was feeling was normal.

Symptom after symptom, none of them obviously connected, each one sending her back to a search engine to work out on her own whether it was menopause, or something else, or nothing at all.

That is a strange amount of work to ask of someone who already feels awful. And it is not a knowledge problem — the information mostly exists. It is scattered across a hundred articles written for nobody in particular, half of them selling something, and none of them able to answer the only question that actually matters at 3am: is this me, and is this normal?

I wanted her to have one place that could answer that. Somewhere she could describe what was happening in her own words instead of guessing the right search terms. Somewhere that would keep track of what she had been feeling, so that months of it were not held together by memory alone. And something she could take to her doctor that made a ten-minute appointment start from evidence rather than from "I've been feeling off."

Those three things are the whole product. Not because they tested well, but because they are what she needed.

Find answers
Describe it the way it actually feels. No search terms, no clicking through five articles to reach the paragraph that applies to you.
Track symptoms
Ten seconds a day, free on every plan, so a bad month is something you can look at rather than something you half-remember.
Share it with her doctor
A printable summary of what has actually been happening, so the appointment starts from a record instead of from scratch.

What that does and doesn't make me.

It does not make me a clinician. I am not one, nobody clinical reviews this product, and I have written that out in full on evidence & safety rather than leaving you to find out later. Building something for someone you love is a reason to be careful with it, not a qualification.

It does mean the limits on this thing were drawn with a specific person in mind. When I decided it would never give a dose, never diagnose, and never push anyone toward or away from HRT, I was thinking about my mother reading it and taking it seriously. Those six rules are not legal cover. They are what I would want a product to refuse to do if she were the one asking.

And no, I have not been through this. I have watched someone go through it and be handed very little. That is a worse vantage point than living it and a better one than never having seen it, and it is the honest description of where this comes from.
