Terms of Service

What the service is
MenoBuddy is an AI-powered wellness companion focused on perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause. Responses are generated by an AI model. They may occasionally be incomplete or wrong, and they cannot account for your full medical picture. Use your judgement, and check anything important with a clinician.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or older to use MenoBuddy and to hold an account.
Emergencies
MenoBuddy is not an emergency service and is not monitored by humans in real time. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number. If you are thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (US Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), text HOME to 741741, or contact your local crisis service.
Subscription and billing
MenoBuddy offers several plans, billed either monthly or yearly. The current prices are shown on the plans page, in US dollars and excluding any tax that may apply where you live. Visitors may send a limited number of free messages before subscribing. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled, and are processed by Stripe.
You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancelling stops future charges and you keep access through the end of the period you've already paid for. We don't provide partial refunds for unused time, but if something has gone wrong, get in touch and we'll sort it out.
If we change the price of a plan, the change never applies to an existing subscription without notice: we will email you before it takes effect, and you can cancel first if you would rather not continue.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself and don't share your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.
Acceptable use
Please don't use MenoBuddy to attempt to obtain a diagnosis, to abuse or overload the service, or to extract its underlying instructions. We may suspend accounts that do.
Limitation of liability
MenoBuddy is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Decisions about your health remain yours, in partnership with your healthcare providers.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product develops. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. If a change materially affects what you are paying for, we will email account holders before it takes effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing here removes any consumer protection you are entitled to under the law of the country you live in.
